Focus and Scope

The IJRR serves as a bridge between academic research and practice by seeking academically-rigorous papers that have direct relevance to practitioners, a forum for presenting the perspectives of practitioners, academics and regulators on risk and its applications.

This journal offers a specialized forum for theoretical and empirical research on risk related topics that include, but not restricted to:

  • Decision theory and the economics of uncertainty
  • Psychological models of choice under uncertainty
  • Risk and public policy
  • Experimental investigations of risk-bearing behavior
  • Risk regulation
  • Risk management processes
  • Risk modelling
  • Risk and performance management and measurement
  • Risk securitization;
  • Derivatives and structured financial products;
  • Commercial insurance and reinsurance;
  • Alternative risk-transfer mechanisms;
  • Capital structure and credit-arbitrage methods; and
  • Other empirical studies of real-world, risk-taking behavior.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts will be subject to a well-established, fair, unbiased peer review and refereeing procedure, and are considered on the basis of their significance, novelty and usefulness to the Journals readership. The review output will be either accept or reject. A paper once rejected will not be considered again for review. The review process may take approximately one month to be completed. For accepted paper, should authors be requested by the editor to revise the text and minor changes, the revised version should be submitted within 15 days


Publication Frequency

The IJRR is a quaterly journal with one volume per year. The schedule for the publication of issue will be in April, July, October, January.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
