Radial Basis Artificial Neural Network Computer Engineering Methodology for Predicting Shelf Life of Brown Milk Cakes Decorated with Almonds

Abstract


Brown milk cakes decorated with almonds were prepared and artificial neural network based radial basis models were developed to predict shelf life of these cakes. Nemours experiments were conducted and best results were selected, based on these results regression equations were developed. Mean Square Error, Root Mean Square Error, Coefficient of Determination and Nash - Sutcliffo Coefficient were used to compare the prediction ability of radial basis models. From the investigation, it is concluded that artificial neural network based radial basis models are effective tool for predicting shelf life of brown milk cakes decorated with almonds.
