Study of temperament of adult students in cold climate extremes

ABSTRACT

 

            This study conducted at Chaudhry Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut-UP to examine the Temperament of Adults by Adult Temperament Questionnaire (ATQ).  A five-factor model emerged from exploratory factor analysis, with factors labeled Orienting Sensitivity, Effortful Control, Extraversion, Affiliativeness, and Negative affect (Evans & Rothbart, 2007) has been used to access the temperament. The results of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) show the model convergences for the above said five constructs. The performance /convergence of the model are tested in cold climate extremes. Social anger and sadness support the negativity. This   in tern affects the sensitivity of the temperament among adults.
