Hamiltonian of Fabry- Perot optomechanical system

Abstract


Field quantization of the optomechanical system is the aim of this paper. The optomechanical system consists of a Fabry- Perot cavity with a total reflector moving mirror in parallel to a semitransparent mirror. The moving mirror is modeled by a harmonic oscillator. Through the semitransparent mirror, Fabry- Perot cavity mode interacts with the surrounding reservoir. In most papers Hamiltonian is derived phenomenologically. In this paper, Hamiltonian is calculated analytically.
