A Novel Analysis of Power allocation in wireless Image transmission with DPSK over Fading channels using quasi static channel model
Abstract
Fading is caused by multi-path effect. Fading is deviation of the attenuation that a signal experiences over certain propagation media. A fading channel is a communication channel that experiences fading.Typically, a path gain in a fading channel changes insignificantly over a period, which corresponds to a very large number of bits in many modern wireless data applications, assessing performance over a statistically significant range of fading entails simulating a prohibitively large amount of data. Quasi-static channel modeling provides a more tractable approach for wireless image transmission. Power allocation methods are analyzed with quasi static channel model using graphical visualization tool. Adaptive Power allocation shows better performance in terms of frequency response and other channel impairments.
