Synthesis of carbon nanotube by laser chemical vapor deposition by means of ND:Yags laser second harmonic
Abstract
There are various methods for synthesis of carbon nanotubes. Significance of these methods are different depend on scale of output and purity of carbon nanotubes that has been produced. Among this methods, chemical vapor depositions method however result in producing of carbon nanotube with low quality but advantage of using this method is collective generation, and it will redound economic gain of product. Since for synthesis of nanotubes by this way, we need about 600-1200 centigerad temprature, so there are different techniques that we can synthesized carbon nanotubes in the lower temprature by using them. On of this methods is LCVD which we should use the laser radiation as sourse of heat. In this work, early contour chamber for synthesis of nanotube that has the ability of controling and changing substrate temprature and then we are synthesized carbon nanotubes on the silicon and quartz substrates by using this method.
