Study and Simulation EOR Process While Immiscible Gas Injecting in an Oil Reservoir in South of Iran

Abstract

Gas injection is one of the effective methods in oil recovery that has different types such  as miscible and immiscible and each one is divided into two techniques:

1-injection in the oil zone

2-injection  in the gas cap.[1]-[3]

The target of the reservoir was placed in SARRVAK .production and the total   produced   oil until year 2056 was modeled for three production scenarios with no gas injection and 2^nd and 3^rd with different Formation and the total produced oil until year 2056 was modeled for three production scenarios   1^st with no gas injection and 2^nd and 3^rd with different well arrangement with gas injection wells. This paper showed that by this method it is possible to increase production from 6.94percent in the 1^st and production scenario to 11.97 percent of initial oil in place in the 3^rd scenario.
